Healthcare Workers Fighting for Less Overtime

Understaffed and overworked, some of Pennsylvania’s care givers say they're being pushed past the point of safety. CBS 21 News was there when a group of more than 300 nurses rallied at the Capitol Tuesday.

The largest single group of nurses in Pennsylvania on Tuesday was not likely in the halls of any hospital, but in the halls of the State Capitol. They came to the Capitol from all corners of the commonwealth demanding an end to mandatory overtime. The nurses and their union representatives say it's not uncommon for a nurse to work an 8 hour shift and an additional 8 hours of overtime back to back with little or no notice.
